Join Gallery X for an opening reception on Saturday, March 21 from 4-7pm for the Patchwork exhibition.
In Patchwork 50 local and regional artist seek to reveal the magic in materials existing around us and their place in creativity. These artists have created new and exciting artworks with sustainable, reused, handmade, and natural mediums. Artists have sewn, woven, painted, printed, and carved art that connects us and our environment. While the materials are mindful of the earth, the subjects of each vary greatly, creating a an eclectic collection for all to enjoy.
And don’t forget, in addition to this Main Gallery exhibition we have a brand new solo show, Ben Berke: Dead Whale City on view in the Frederick Douglass Gallery.
This reception is free and open to the public, please tell your friends and family.
