Young Artist memberships are an opportunity to provide school age and young adult artists the opportunity to become a part of a community of artists and performers while also enjoying many of the same great benefits that the standard Artist Membership provides.

There are two types of Young Artist memberships based on the artists age:

  • Youth Artist, which is for any young artist in grades K-12 who is seeking to exhibit or perform their artistic creations.
  • Emerging Artist, a membership that is open to any artist post-high school through age 25.

How do I join?
Simply fill out an application and bring in a few examples of your work during gallery hours. Applications and work samples may also be emailed to GalleryXNB@gmail.com.

Annual Membership Dues

All memberships run 12 months from the date joined, the payment of annual dues can be broken into installments.

  • Submit artwork to all Gallery X sponsored exhibitions free of charge.
  • Discounted commission rate. Gallery X members are subject to a 25% commission on works sold (non-members are subject to a 35% commission).

Card to Culture Discounted Memberships

Gallery X is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.

EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive 50% off annual Individual Artist and Emerging Artist memberships and 70% off Youth Artist memberships. To receive a discounted membership through Card to Culture simply show your card when submitting a membership form.
