Cinema 169: MISERY

Join Gallery X on Saturday, December 20 for Cinema 169, a free film series inspired by the visual art exhibition on view at Gallery X. To coincide with the COZY exhibition we will be screening the 1990 psychological thriller MISERY directed by Rob Reiner and based on the novel by Stephen King.
Reservations recommended, but not required. Doors at 6:30, the screening will begin at 7:00.
This screening is free and open to the public, refreshments will be available to purchase inside Gallery X.Â
Synopsis: After a serious car crash, novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) is rescued by Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), who claims to be his biggest fan. Annie brings him to her remote cabin to recover, where her obsession takes a dark turn when she discovers Sheldon is killing off her favorite character from his novels.
