The Gallery X Amazing Art Raffle and Silent Auction is back! This is your year to win fantastic prizes while at the same time supporting Gallery X and its tradition of bringing contemporary art and cultural events to the greater New Bedford community. Prizes may include original works of art, locally made crafts, gift certificates, and other fun prizes.
The proceeds of this raffle will go towards the restoration projects Gallery X has planned for its historic 1855 building in 2022 and beyond. These projects include; painting the exterior siding and trim, the restoration of the steeple’s exterior facade, cleaning and repairing the stained glass windows, as well as new historically accurate storm windows to protect the stained glass.
Prize Donations: Interested in donating a prize? Gallery X will be accepting donations of art or other prizes beginning October 20, the final day to donate a prize is November 10. Everyone who donates a prize (gift certificate, artwork, etc.) will receive 5 free raffle tickets to enter for any prize they wish.
Dates: Raffle prizes will be on view in the Main Gallery at Gallery X beginning Wednesday, November 3 through Saturday, November 27.
A preview night will be held during Aha! Thursday, November 11 from 5-8pm.
The live raffle reception and drawing will be held Saturday, November 27 from 5-8pm.
These events are free and open to the public.
Raffle: Raffle tickets may be purchased and entered for prizes throughout the month. Tickets will be available to purchase at Gallery X during regular gallery hours (Wednesday-Sunday 12-3) beginning November 3, during the Aha! preview, and also the night of the live drawing.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 each, 5 for $20.00, 15 for $50, or 40 for $100.00.
