A membership for artists of all ages and skills levels who wish to exhibit or perform their work in a welcoming and inclusive setting. Artist memberships are open to individuals and families working in any creative practice or medium.

Patron Membership
For anyone who isn’t an exhibiting artist, but still wants to be a part of the Gallery X community. Patron memberships are open to all individuals, families, and organizations who support the goals and mission of Gallery X.

Card to Culture
Gallery X is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive 50% off an annual Individual Artist or Emerging Artist membership and 70% off a Youth Artist membership. The card must be shown at the time of joining. Artist Membership Fund
In 2024 Gallery X members, Elaine and Beatrice Alder sought to create a special initiative to coincide with the All My Kinfolk: Queer Ancestors & Chosen Family / Black Music Month exhibitions. Their goal was to raise funds to provide free and reduced cost Gallery X memberships to interested LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC artists who participated in the exhibition. Thanks to their hard work and the generosity of the community we were able to provide 5 artists with free memberships in 2024.
In 2025 this fund became a permanent initiative of our organization and has grown to support young and emerging artists as well. Memberships through this initiative will be available year round as funding allows. Interested artists may contact Gallery X to inquire about receiving a free or reduced cost membership.
