Kansei Yasuda is a Toronto-based Japanese stand-up comedian and Kill Tony Golden Ticket winner, known for his dry, deadpan delivery and sharp observations on cultural differences. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kansei moved to North America at 15 and graduated from UMass Dartmouth, where he first dreamed of becoming a comedian.
Since then, he has performed across North America, opened for Adam Ray, appeared on CTV, CP24, CHCH, and CBC Radio, and performed at comedy festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Now, as part of his RESPECT!! Solo Comedy Tour, Kansei returns to New Bedford for a special Homecoming Edition, bringing his unique perspective back to the city where his journey began.
