Celebrate 30 (+1) years of Gallery X with our annual open community art exhibit, the 32nd Public Hanging. This is by far our largest single exhibition ever, over 300 pieces by 83 different artists!

Gallery X first opened its doors for “A Public Hanging” on August 25, 1990, since then we have had over 400 art exhibitions and events, restored our 1855 historic church building, and are looking to the future.

The Public Hanging is the chance for community artists of all backgrounds to join with Gallery X artist members to exhibit any work they’ve produced without needing to fit to an overall theme or motif. These works, spanning several mediums and subjects, are on display in both gallery spaces at Gallery X through September 5.

Opening reception, Saturday, August 7 (5-8pm)
Aha! Night – Thursday, August 12 (5-8pm)
