Join Gallery X from 5-8pm as we celebrate the opening of our newest exhibitions Out of this World and The Photography of James Correia.  The Funky Cat Duo, Felix Rentschler and Neil McCarthy, will perform from 6-8pm in a free live performance sponsored by the New Bedford Cultural Council.

Out of this World on view in the Main Gallery helps transform Gallery X into Galaxy X in celebration of the 76th anniversary of the UFO sightings in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. 34 artists are exhibiting their artwork in this community exhibition featuring everything from the unknowns of space to sci-fi and futurism. Out of this World is curated by artist and Gallery X member David Walega.

The Photography of James Correia fills the walls of the Frederick Douglass Gallery. A Dartmouth-based photographer, Jim has selected images depicting the wide range of his photographic interests; nature, architecture, and portraiture.

These exhibitions will be on view at Gallery X through July 23
